PRESENS pressure sensors measure the pressure with a piezoresistive Wheatstone bridge integrated on a silicon structure. In comparison to conventional silicon pressure sensors that use diaphragms with a piezoresistive resistor bridge to measure stress, PRESENS sensors are far more resilient to high pressure and over-pressure conditions due to high sensing element stiffness and large dynamic range.
PRESENS pressure sensors are uniquely qualified to maintain high accuracy during pressure and temperature transients. The PRESENS pressure sensing element measures both pressure and temperature at precisely the same location, thus greatly reducing or eliminating the effects of fluctuating, dynamic operating conditions.
